MALL 📱: Mobile Assisted Language Learning

Mobile Assisted Language Learning" refers to language learning that involves the use of mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets. It provides learners with the flexibility to engage in language learning activities whenever and wherever they choose. Language apps and interactive tools on mobile devices enable learners to progress at their own pace, which aligns well with the modern, dynamic lifestyles of the learners, making language learning convenient. 🙌

Despite all these positive changes in language learning with the help of MALL, there are indeed potential drawbacks, and distraction is one of them 😕. Mobile devices are multifunctional tools, and the presence of various apps, notifications, and internet access can make it easier for learners to get distracted from their language learning activities.
